Key Performance Areas Responsible for ensuring that liquid packaging plant are
able to perform at targeted capacity and that efficiency targets meeting the operational requirements of the company. Application of good manufacturing practices and preventative maintenance systems in line with production forecasts and budgets. Responsible for Engineering projects and managing budgets. Driving compliance of applicable food safety systems and regulations as well as adherence to environmental best practices. Ensuring safe functioning of equipment, work areas and peopleManagement and development of staff ensuring the employees are engaged with company objectives and have the required skill sets to operate and maintain these facilities. Knowledge and Skills The successful candidate will have a 4 year mechanical/electrical engineering qualification and a GCC. 10 Years’ experience at least 5 years’ experience in a management role leading artisans and production staff ideally within the FMCG sector. The ability to implement best practices associated with the provision and maintenance of liquid packaging plant and equipment. Have a strong focus on leading people and ensuring their development is matched to the needs of the company. Be able to identify and implement improvement opportunities to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness, reduce overhead expenses and positively impact on the environment.
